Weather Update: J&K to Experience Light Rain, Snow in Higher Reaches

Srinagar, Oct 23 : (ANR) The Meteorological Centre Srinagar has issued a weather forecast for Jammu and Kashmir, predicting light rain and snow in higher reaches of the region.

According to the forecast, there is a possibility of very light rain/light snow over higher reaches of North Kashmir and Sonamarg on the night of October 23 and early morning of October 24.

The weather is expected to remain generally dry from October 25 to 27. However, October 28-29 will be generally cloudy with a possibility of light rain/light snow over higher reaches of North and Central Kashmir in the evening/night.

The forecast also predicts dry weather on October 30-31 and November 1-2.

Farmer Advisory

The Meteorological Centre has advised farmers to continue harvesting, ensure safe storage of harvested crops, and carry out other farm Operations .
