- Firstly there are some common eligibility criteria for students.
- Also, for applying should be permanent residence from WB state.
- Then, the annual family income of students should not more than 2.5 lakh rupees.
- Secondly, the eligibility criteria depend on student percentage previously.
- So, for Higher Secondary level. The student should qualify for the Madhyamik exam with 75% marks at least.

Swami Vivekananda Scholarship Renewal (SVMCM)?
Every year, the winners of Swami Vivekananda scholarship (Bikash Bhavan Scholarship) have to apply for its renewal. Applicable only for some particular level of studies, the renewal cases are subject to one’s decent academic performance. The minimum score for renewal that one should obtain at the promotional level during one’s transition from higher secondary level to UG and Diploma level is 60% marks. However, to get a renewal at postgraduate level, one needs to obtain minimum 50% marks at the promotional level. Furthermore, one should pass/clear all semester examinations in the first attempt to be eligible for renewal.
