How much and when to get insurance (PMSBY Scheme Benefits)
Under PMSBY, the policyholder gets an insurance cover of up to Rs 2 lakh. This amount is received by the family of the policyholder. What are the conditions and method of paying premium (PMSBY Eligibility and Premium)
Anyone in the age group of 18 to 70 years can apply for this scheme. Under this scheme, the premium has to be paid only once. This is premium auto debit. That is, if you buy a policy, once a year, on May 31, Rs 20 is automatically deducted from your account. This policy remains valid from June 1 to May 31.
