Srinagar, Dec 06 (KS) : No significant weather activity is expected during the next 10-15 days while a weak disturbance is likely is affect J&K on 09 December.

Independent weatherman Faizan Arif while talking to Kashmir Scroll (KS) said that no significant weather activity is expected during the next 10 – 15 days while a weak Western Disturbance is likely to affect Jammu and Kashmir on 09 December.

Under its influence, light rain can occur at a few places in plains, and light to moderate snowfall is expected at some places in higher reaches, he said.

Most activity will be seen over higher reaches of Bandipora, Ganderbal, and Anantnag districts, as well as a few higher reaches of Kupwara district, he added.

Chances of snowfall in plains are very less. And it may not even rain everywhere in plains, he added further.

No significant activity is expected in Jammu region, although a short shower can occur at a few places (35% chances), he said.

Light to moderate snowfall is possible at a few places in Kargil district. In Leh district, a few spots may experience light snow showers, he added further.(KS)
