Light Rain, Snow Forecasted in Jammu and Kashmir

 

 

 

 

 

SRINAGAR: The Meteorological Department (MeT) has foreseen the likelihood of light rain and snowfall in the higher altitudes of Jammu and Kashmir on Thursday. Presently, the weather across most parts of Jammu and Kashmir is clear to partly cloudy conditions, with dry weather expected to persist until November 22nd.

The weather on November 23rd is anticipated to be generally cloudy with the possibility of light rain and snow at isolated higher reaches. On November 24th-26th, it is forecasted to be generally dry.

For November 27th-30th, the weather is forecasted to be generally cloudy with the likelihood of light rain and snow at isolated higher reaches.

Srinagar, amidst this weather scenario, recorded the coldest night of the season as a cold wave continues to tighten its grip on the Kashmir region. Despite the chilling temperatures, the overall weather conditions are not expected to undergo significant changes until the conclusion of November.
