On November 9, the employees can get the gift of DA. It is reported that the file of DA has been sent to the Chief Minister’s office, which can be stamped till the state foundation day. The payment of dearness allowance is likely to increase the expenditure on the exchequer by Rs 576 crore annually. 2 lakh employees will get the benefit of this.

In a recent meeting, the cabinet has authorized Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami to take a decision on this proposal. After this, the Finance Department sent the file to CM House regarding the DA increase, which is likely to be stamped by November 9. Speculations are being made that DA increase can be announced on Uttarakhand Foundation Day. Here, there is anger among the state employees for not getting the approval of the CM on the DA file.
Uttarakhand employee organizations have demanded the state government to announce the benefit of increased DA at the earliest. He says that this time the benefit of DA announcement should be given to the state employees as well as the corporation employees. All employees are expecting to get DA before Diwali. All government employees and pensioners of the state will get the benefit of this increase in dearness allowance. The DA is likely to be released around November 9. In the meeting of the state cabinet, it was agreed to give Diwali bonus and four percent DA to the state employees.
