In fact, despite the instructions, biometric attendance was not being imposed in many departments and offices on time. On this information, the Principal Secretary, Department of General Administration, Dr. B. Rajender has issued a clear instruction.
He said that in special circumstances, the officer-employee who got the prior permission would be allowed to come to the office late for a maximum of two days in a month. If any officer-employee comes to the office after one hour from the scheduled time without permission, then half day’s leave will be deducted from his casual leave.
This action will also be taken against late coming employees
If any employee comes late to the office repeatedly, then in such a situation the concerned officers will initiate disciplinary action against them. However, in the guidelines issued, it has also been said that in the event of an emergency, any employee or officer can come to the late office for a maximum of two days in a month after taking permission from his superior officer. If you come late without informing then action will be taken directly.
