The Ministry of Road Transport and Highways of India has made about 58 services related to driving license and conductor license to permit online for citizens.

This facility will be available online

Those people whose Aadhaar verification has been done will get the benefit of these 58 online services. The ministry has said that on the basis of Aadhaar verification, application for learning driving license, renewal of driving license and many tasks related to duplicate driving license will be done sitting at home. Along with this, applying for an International Driving Permit, updating the address in the license and applying for vehicle transfer can be done online.

Will Aadhar card be necessary?

Any person can take advantage of these services, just he should have Aadhar card. Along with this, the person will also have to get his Aadhaar card verified. Now you must be thinking that what will happen to those who do not have Aadhar card. Let us tell you that the government has also taken full care of those who do not have Aadhaar card yet, according to the rule of CMVR- 1989, any alternative document can be submitted other than Aadhaar. The ministry has said that increasing the number of online facilities will reduce congestion in the RTO office. With this, people’s time will also be saved a lot.

People of 16-18 years can also apply!

If you think that 18 years of age is necessary to get a driving license, then you are wrong. According to the existing rules, people in the age group of 16 to 18 years can also apply for a learning driving license. But people having these licenses can only drive without gear. Also, it is necessary to have the approval of the parents to get this license made. The specialty of this license is that you can apply it sitting at home, for this you will have to give a normal test.
