7th Pay Commission: Modi government will increase DA by 5 percent in March, this much salary will increase
The government had recently increased DA
The government had increased DA and DR by 4 per cent in the month of September before Diwali. This benefited 48 lakh central government employees and 68 lakh pensioners of the country during the festive season. After this increase, it was considered applicable from 1 July 2022. With the increase of 4 per cent, the basic pay or pension of the employees has gone up to 38 per cent. Earlier the DA was revised in March.
Government will increase DA again next year
The government will increase DA again next year in March 2023. This time DA and DR can increase by 3 to 5 percent. If this happens, once again a big increase in the salary of the employees can be seen.
the salary was so high
The DA hike has increased the inflationary component of the salary of central government employees. For example, if someone’s salary is Rs 50,000 per month and gets Rs 15,000 as basic pay. Till now you get Rs 5,100, which is 34% of the basic pay. Now after the 4% increase, you will get Rs 5,700 per month, which is Rs 600 more than before. The central government revises allowances every year on January 1 and July 1.
Formula was changed in the year 2006
Earlier, in the beginning of the year 2022, the government had increased the DA by 3 percent to 34 percent. In the year 2006, the central government revised the calculation formula of DA and DR for central government employees and pensioners.
